The Talk: The talk will consider the CitizenAid (https://www.citizenaid.org/external link, opens in new window) programme. The presenter will describe a series of work streams around blast and ballistic injury that underpin the system - as well as the military operational experience from recent conflicts.


The Presenter: Peter Mahoney CBE was a founder of the CitizenAid project. Through his extensive medical and former military experience (including as the first Defence Professor of Anaesthesia, 2008-2016), he is well respected for his involvement in battlefield trauma and emergency planning.


The CitizenAid programme is one methodology that have the potential of saving lives in case of an attack. We would therefore like to invite you to join us in listening to the talk and get more information about the programme as well as its clinical background.
